Things you need to bring on your first day

If you are looking forward to starting at the college but are feeling a little nervous as you don’t know anyone and you have no idea what to expect or what you need to bring with you, don’t worry! Everyone feels like this on their first day whether it’s at our college or any other. If you make sure that you bring the following documents with you then you’re well on the way to being super organised:

• Bank details – so that you can receive your funding
• Parental consent form
• Health & fitness screening form
• Nutrition questionnaire
• Proof of identity (drivers licence or passport)
• Any certificates already achieved
• National insurance number
• Financial support application form (if applicable)
• Any uniform that you have purchased already

If you don’t have your uniform yet, that’s OK, just come in comfortable clothing that you would wear to the gym or to do physical exercise.

Kit you need to order

Every student will need to buy uniform for college and to take part in physical training. The list of kit you need includes:

• Sweatshirt
• T-shirt
• Polo-shirt
• Shorts
• Training bibs
• Washbag
• Belt
• Boots
• Camouflage trousers

Uniform is an important part of the routine you will learn at the college and our friendly Instructors will take you through what you need to buy and they can also recommend suppliers for items you can’t buy through us.
