Military Experience

Served 26 years in the ARMY (Welsh Guards) as a Physical Training, Weapons, CBRN, Phase 1 and 2 training Instructor. Served in many operational Postings. Worked with young adults in Schools and colleges towards the end of my career. Served in the Army Recruiting world as an office manager in an Army Recruiting Officer. Rugby Coach, mainly for the Infantry and Wrexham Rugby Club.

"As a Lead instructor, I love to see the learner transformation from their first day at college to the day they leave and how much stronger they have become. I strive for the day they step away having achieved their objective. I also warm to the fact that they even return to the centre to give a little bit back during their on time on leave."

Military Experience

I served in the 1st Battalion the Royal Welsh for 10 years, during that time I carried out 4 operational tours of Afghanistan, Op Herricks 6,8,11 and 16, I also deployed on overseas exercises in Kenya, India and the Falkland Islands. I left the Army as a Corporal.

"As a former pupil on a similar course to MPCT I know first-hand how an enthusiastic instructor can make the difference to someone’s future, I like to think with my experience and skill set that I can help young people succeed in their chosen career paths just by showing them basic life skills and core values for them to live by."
