Deputy Minister for Skills and Technology Julie James made a welcomed visit to the MPCT Cardiff Centre at the invitation of the Skills Academy provision in Dumballs Road.
The Deputy Minister was welcomed by the learners who gave their “ice breakers” before a tour of the centre, which gave her an opportunity to observe the learners completing a command task. Julie James AM was both impressed and intrigued by the display boards in the centre, which highlighted the collaboration and partnership with local partners as well as healthy eating.
“We were delighted that the Deputy Minister was able to find time in her busy schedule to visit our provision in Cardiff,” said MPCT Director of Schools Philip Jones.
“The learners were once again a credit to MPCT and their schools. They contribution to the day was immense and highlighted the positive nature of our provision”, he added.
