Do I need a CRB/DBS check?
Yes, it is important that all staff have a fully enhanced DBS along with two references to support our safeguarding policy. You can start an application for your DBS here
Do I need to be ex-military to be suitable for a job within MPCT?
Having experience within this field is desirable however not essential for certain roles.
Lead/Training Instructor/Area Manager – Yes, at least 5 years’ experience
Skills Tutor – No
Administration Support – No
What if I don’t see a job vacancy in my area?
Apply anyway by visiting our vacancies. If there are no current vacancies we will keep your details on file. This will allow us to contact you if a position arises that we feel you would be suitable for in your area.
Will I be contacted if my application was not successful?
We always aim to review all applications as quickly as possible and will be notified if you are unsuccessful through your message portal. Please ensure you keep your login details safe.
I cannot login to my account (I have forgotten my password) what should I do?
Please follow the link ‘forgotten my password’ and you will be issued with new details. This is done directly through the portal.
Can I volunteer at MPCT?
Yes, please see our Volunteering policy for information (coming soon). If you wish to apply please complete an open application via our vacancies.
What date are salaries paid every month?
Last working day of the month.
Do I work a month in hand?
No you are paid for the period you have worked in that month.
Do I need a P45?
Yes if you have one bring it to induction, if not you will need to complete a P46.
What shall I wear on my first day
Once a job offer is made you will be given an allowance for uniform. The majority of uniform is ordered through MPCT online shop. If you have not received your uniform before your start date please wear smart dress on your first day.
How do I claim expenses?
This will become apparent during induction when you have HR system training. Just ensure you keep all receipts for when you make a claim.
