Students are empowered to make choices to promote the nutritional study of food and its physiological effects upon the human body. Healthy eating lessons improve students’ nutritional knowledge and enhance their decision making regarding food selection.
Many types of active learning sessions take place, including indoor, outdoor, individual and team sport sessions. The course covers many different areas including battle PT, mile and a half run, jerry can test, drills, log displays and gun runs.
If you’re not fit right now, you will be by the time you complete the course. The college uses a bib system so students are only ever competing to their level of fitness. Blue being intermediate, red being mid-range and green being the top group of physical fitness.
