June 2021

I joined the Army September 9th 2001 as a junior leader at AFC Harrogate and left in September 2015. During my fourteen years I was fortunate enough to deploy on three operational tours, two of Iraq and one of Afghanistan.

After returning from my second tour I was selected to be a training instructor at Bassingbourn, developing and mentoring new recruits from day one, to week fourteen. this is where my love of instruction was born. It was rewarding to witness and be apart of their journey in their chosen path and gave me a great sense of pride when they made it to pass off day.

After Bassingbourn I was selected to go on my Challenger 2 commanders course and passed that top of the class.
