Tree Planting at Mill Hill Park

On Thursday 2nd December learners from MPC Edgware took part in a tree planting scheme at Mill Hill Park. The scheme which is run by Barnet Council aims, through the help of volunteers like our Learners, to create a memorial woodland where the local community can reflect upon the many lives lost since the start of the pandemic, and to help bring the community together as well as inspire hope and possibility for the future.

The day also saw some healthy competition between Learners as they raced against each other towards the goal of planting 160 trees!
