MPCT does Armed Forces Day!

Armed Forces Day is a hugely important date in the MPCT Calendar, and every year our Learners impress the thousands that turn out for the event.

On 28th June, many of our Learners from both our English and Welsh Colleges went to the School Engagement day hosted in Salisbury (pictures below) which they thoroughly enjoyed.

For the main event on Sunday, MPCT’s Managing Director Huw Lewis MBE traveled down along with many other members of MPCT’s Head Office to watch our Learners parade in the afternoon for their fitness display. Our Military Preparation College tent saw many visitors, with so many of the public in attendance showing high interest in what it is we do at MPCT! Mr Lewis also gave out prizes to those Learners who impressed him the most during the day as can be seen by the photos featured below. It was a fantastic day and one that truly put MPCT on the map of the Armed Forces World.

An Ex-Learner, Jack Gelder of MPCT Aldershot who is now in the Army Air Corps also visited our tent with his mother who told us of how MPCT “made him the man he is today”.

Thank you to everyone who came to visit us on Sunday, and we were privileged and proud to be a part of the event.
