Ste Smith

My Name is Ste Smith, and I am the centre manager for MPCT Stoke. I joined MPCT in January 2022. I was drawn to MPCT because of its commitment to transforming the lives of young people and creating better citizens across the United Kingdom. I also enjoy the fact of working with likeminded ex-Military personnel. I have 13 years of Military experience having served as an Infantry soldier from the rank of Private to Leaving as an Acting Sergeant, as well as a Forward observer in the Royal Artillery.

I have worked as a military instructor at the Army Foundation College Harrogate for 2 years and completed various Instructor recognised qualifications such as Skill at Arms, First Aid, Drill, Chemical Warfare and a Physical Training Instructor. 

During my service I completed 6 Operational Tours. 2 of Northern Ireland, 2 In Iraq and 2 In Afghanistan, where I worked as a javelin and heavy machine gun operator.

My greatest achievement at MPCT has been seeing the Difference in the Learners lives, seeing the confidence, Drive and determination they bring has been exemplary and watching their Military careers progress.

I am extremely passionate about physical fitness and love lifting weights in the Gym.
