In September 2003, I was accepted into the Army Foundation College Harrogate joining the 2nd Battalion the Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment (2PWRR). Once passing Harrogate and on arrival to Battalion I done various jobs within the unit which included tours of Iraq, Northern Ireland closing OP Banner and Afghanistan. On Successful completion of promotional courses, I was given the opportunity to go back to AFC(H) as a section commander in 21 Platoon, Burma Company.

Once completing this posting, I was then sent back to unit who were stationed at Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, where the Battalion was on Public duties conducting Queen’s guard at Buckingham Palace. I had the honour of providing security for the London 2012 Olympics before leaving the service after 10 years.

Since leaving the forces, I have been assisting young people in the ACF and passing on my knowledge I have received in the HM Forces, Now I am responsible for 250+ Cadets and Adults as the Training Officer.

In my spare time I enjoy all aspects of physical fitness and go on regular runs, I also enjoy sports and I am currently training with a local gym doing Boxing.
