Miss Darsie Townsend MPCT Newport Pass off parade at Pirbright

Miss Townsend completed her phase one training which culminated in the much practised pass off parade on the 16 February 2018 at ATC Pirbright. During the crisp Friday morning parade, Miss Townsend acquitted herself exceptionally, marching with swagger and displaying unyielding uniformity with rifle drill.

After the parade the staff and MPCT learners who went to see the pass off watched Miss Townsend as she was given her final ‘fall out’ from basic training outside of the NAAFI which was a proud moment for all involved. After this Miss Townsend regaled staff and learners with stories of her basic training and where she was going to in her phase two training. It was clear to see that Miss Townsend has developed into a competent soldier and has learned from experiences that will give her success moving forward in her career. Miss Townsend has overcome bumps on the road to her chosen job choice but has always shown determination to keep progressing which is evident today.

All staff at MPCT Newport are very proud of Miss Townsend’s achievements and wish her more success in the future.
