Sports Academy Open Days

As of Friday 29th June, MPCT’s Sports Academies will be offering the chance for potential learners to experience a taste of life at our esteemed Sports Academies.

Dylan Jones, Manager of the Academies says that “the Taster Days at MPCT Sports Academy give young people the opportunity to experience some of the activities that take place in the college on a daily basis. Young people can expect a vibrant environment to try out team building and problem solving activities as well as take part in a sport or exercise session. Suitable sports kit is required for the Taster Day, while shower kit, a water bottle and a change of clothes is advised. A packed lunch is optional. After a debrief from the training instructor, young people will be more familiar with the Sports Academy and able to make a more informed choice about their future.” For further enquiries please email enquiries@mpct.co.uk or call 0300 111 3939.

The Open Days will happen EVERY Friday starting this week 29th June 2018, starting at 10am and finishing at 12pm. They will be held at both academies:

  • Channel View, Jim Driscoll Way, Grangetown, Cardiff, CF11 7HB
  • Coleg Y Cymoedd, Rhondda Campus, Llwynypia, Rhondda Cynon Taff, CF40 2TQ
