MPCT says goodbye to the lovely Lisa!

Lisa Price, skills tutor at our South Wales College is leaving MPCT after 7 years of brilliant hard work and dedication.

Head of Skills Wales Lisa Gill commented;

During her seven and a half years, Lisa has positively contributed to preparing young people for their future careers , building their self-esteem and self-belief with her own positive can-do attitude.

Lisa always sees the best in the young people with whom she works and encourages them to achieve the very best they can.  Lisa has worked with around 4,000 learners during her time at MPCT, and has submitted an estimated 1,800 qualifications.  Lisa always challenges the learners to achieve numerous skills qualifications and has an eye for quality, with an average qualification success rate of 98%, which is demonstrative of Lisa’s attention to detail.

Lisa provides one-one support to learners with ALN and supports instructors when developing literacy and numeracy activities.  Lisa has provided female chaperone support on numerous occasion, allowing learners to take part in extracurricular activities.

Lisa has been a valuable member of the skills and wider MPCT team and will be dearly missed.
