New Military Academy Wrexham

Another excellent start to the new year as our Military Academy Wrexham has an exciting new centre that opened on Wednesday, 18th of January.

RFCA has handed over the new location, which was opened by the Mayor of Wrexham, Cllr Brian Cameron, and supported by the Armed Forces Champion, Careers Wales and Armed Forces Careers Office Wrexham.

The day was a great success, and The Mayor had an opportunity to speak to all the learners.

On leaving, the mayor said:

“I was not quite sure what to expect on this visit, but I am extremely impressed with the development of the learners seeing their confidence and progression.”

He also mentioned that having MPCT at Hightown Barracks brought a massive lift to the camp showing the great partnership with the Military in Wrexham. Military Academy Wrexham is moving from strength to strength.
