Important update on MPCT response to the Covid-19 emergency

Date: March 18th 2020

In light of the current situation in the UK concerning COVID-19 also known as ‘Coronavirus’, I would like to reassure you that the safety and wellbeing of our learners is paramount to MPCT and we are taking the necessary steps to ensure that this remains our highest priority.

After careful consideration, all MPCT colleges and sports academy locations will become virtual learning environments from 20/03/2020 – 09/04/2020. During this period, all learners will be required to participate in remote learning at home and will be issued with further instruction by their Training Instructors. Easter leave will continue from 10th April and ALL learners will be expected to return on Tuesday 21st April, unless directed otherwise.

To ensure all learners are able to access this we ask that you contact us if your contact details have changed.

During the remote learning period, our Learner Support Centre will conduct weekly ‘Keep in touch’ calls with learners, where progress will be checked.

Weekly updates will be available on our website www.mpct.co.uk and our Learner Support Centre will remain open.

Please also find the link for the latest updates on the NHS and Public Health website, which I encourage you to visit regularly.
