Matthew was a member of the 1st Battalion The Royal Welsh (RWF) for 9 years and reached the rank of Corporal. He served in many countries on tours Afghanistan, Falklands, Cyprus, Kenya and India. Matthew's Role in the Army was a section Commander, and to lead his men into battle.
Matthew also completed many gruelling courses whilst in the Army SCBC, Reece Commanders course and Cambrian Patrol.
He was also a Military Coordinator at MPCT Wrexham before he left the Army in 2014.
Martin joined the Royal Anglian Regiment in 1992 at the age of 18.
Once Martin completed his Infantry training he was posted to Germany for 5 years. Martin toured various country's such as Canada (BATTAS) X 2 November 93 / August 95 and also completed a tour of Bosnia in 94. Martin is a keen Sportsman and boxed for his Company and also his Regiment throughout his service. Martin left his Regiment a L/CPL in 1997 and moved to Bristol. Whilst being in Bristol Martin has worked as a Head Door Supervisor for 7 years whilst Lecturing for the Bristol of City College and the Park Centre. After leaving the College Martin took on the role as Sports Centre Manager at the Park Centre.?
Martin has also worked for British Military Fitness for 6 years and is the current Park Manager.
Martin joined MPCT in February 2014 as the lead instructor and is loving every busy minute.
"A lot of the learners who come to MPCT are low on confidence but by the time they leave MPCT they are more confident, fitter stronger in both body and mind and we are lucky to go on this journey with each learner."

Adam joined the Army in 1998 at the age of 17, and trained to be a Gunner in the Royal Artillery. After completing his basic training, he went to on to become an AS90 Gunner in 1st Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery where he served in various operational theatres such as Bosnia, Kosovo and Cyprus, as well as training in Canada, Egypt and Switzerland amongst other places. Alongside his soldiering Adam represented the combined service in Tug-Of-War, The Gunners in rugby union and was heavyweight regimental boxing champion.
After seven years Adam left the Army and worked for a Private ambulance company and at the same time decided to train as a level two gym instructor. He then went on to University in Winchester to complete a degree in Sports Science.
Adam has since worked in various gyms across the country,and gained many gym based qualifications. He has only recently joined MPCT in August 2014, but is relishing the challenge that awaits him.
Adam loves sport, cake and the occasional beer.
Gosia joined the Polish Army in 2000, and trained to be a Gunner in The Artillery. She was one of the first women to train for combat in Polish Forces. After leaving the military she studied Business Management and Statistics at the West Pomeranian Business School.
Gosia moved to UK 13 years ago, and has since completed her PGCE in Further and Higher Education at the University of South Wales.
For the past 9 years Gosia has been working in various teaching roles in Secondary Schools in Cardiff.
Gosia's interests include mountain hiking, she also enjoys archery and plays badminton. When the times allows she likes to travel and explore new cultures. Gosia speaks 4 languages.
