Nathan Worner recently left MPCT to go to Harrogate to begin his Army Career with the Rifles. Before coming to MPCT Nathan admits that he had problems with his confidence and in particular standing and talking to a group.
After a few months with the College Nathan has successfully passed his selection for the Army, this included delivering a two minute icebreaker to a group of Soldiers at an Army Training Regiment.
“The Staff at MPCT were really supportive and helpful with building my confidence and made the icebreaker seem a lot less daunting task than I originally felt it was. Without their support I feel this is something I would have struggled with.”
Daniel Webb Joined the College in September 2014 with aspirations of joining the Army. Daniel initially struggled with fitness and confidence before joining MPCT. After a few weeks at the College Daniel started to adapt to the expected standards and varying fitness levels. His fitness increased dramatically as did his confidence and overall performance.
Daniel left the College in March 2015 to begin his training at Harrogate to become a Grenadier Guard.
He is currently at Catterick Completing his phase 2 Infantry Training.
Michael Lopresti spent a long time at MPCT due to no fault of his own. He was deferred from the Army for a year for a broken wrist in 2014.
He didn’t let this hold him back and spent the year improving himself in his fitness, confidence, and functional skill level. Michael passed his selection for the Royal Artillery in August 2016.
He is currently in Phase one training at Pirbright.
Mr Bryn Morgan started with MPCT Wrexham in the summer of 2015. He worked extremely hard to get his fitness levels to the required standard to join the Army Air Corps and has achieved his Goal.
Mr Dylan White started in the Wrexham College in the Summer of 2015. He showed great skill and Character and became an Ambassador showing excellent Core Values.
He has achieved his goal of becoming a Royal Engineer.
Mr Jake Hughes started with MPCT Wrexham in the summer of 2015. He worked very hard to improve his confidence and fitness to achieve his dream of joining the Royal Welsh.
He has achieved his goal.
Miss Sophie McGrath started with MPCT Wrexham in the summer of 2015. She has worked hard to improve her fitness and robustness.
Sophie has achieved her goal of joining the Royal Artillery.
Mr Jordan Bird joined MPCT Wrexham after completing his time on the Skills Academy in 2015.
He has worked hard to improve his personal discipline and has achieved his goal of joining the Royal Welsh.
